After flashing the Lineage OS ROM on your device, you\u2019ll have to install the latest Google apps package too. Just head over to\u00a0BaNkS\u2019 Dynamic Gapps repository and download the latest file:<\/p>\n

Install Lineage OS ROM on Your Android<\/h2>\n
Requirements<\/h3>\n

- Make sure you have unlocked the bootloader of your android device.<\/li>\n
- Make sure you have\u00a0TWRP recovery installed on your device.<\/li>\n
- You must have device drivers installed on your PC so as to\u00a0transfer the ROM and Google apps to your device\u2019s storage.<\/li>\n
- You must fully charge your device or at least to 60%, as the process may take a while.<\/li>\n
- Download SuperSU file from\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a> to Root Lineage OS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Backup your Apps and Data
\n<\/strong>Before you proceed,\u00a0make sure you backup all your data. This process will wipe all the data from your device except for the internal storage. Hence, a full backup or nandroid backup is recommended. Also backup\u00a0all your internal storage files just in case anything goes wrong. Take a nandroid backup from the custom recovery before flashing the ROM.<\/p>\nInstallation Process<\/h3>\n

- Download<\/strong> the LineageOS\u00a0<\/em>ROM, SuperSu, and Gapps.<\/em><\/li>\n
- Now transfer<\/strong> the zip file to your device\u2019s storage. Place the zip file where you can easily locate it.<\/li>\n
- Now reboot into Custom Recovery<\/strong> (like TWRP). To boot into TWRP, first turn off your device and then press and hold volume down and power keys\u00a0at the same time. If you see the TWRP logo, that means you have successfully booted into the recovery.<\/li>\n
- It\u2019s highly recommended that you\u00a0perform a nandroid backup<\/strong>. To backup your ROM, tap on backup option in TWRP and select all the partitions including System, Data, Boot, Recovery, EFS <\/strong>and swipe right where appropriate, to backup.<\/li>\n
- After performing the ROM backup, perform a full wipe. Return to the TWRP main menu and tap the\u00a0wipe\u00a0<\/strong>button and select Advanced Wipe<\/strong>. Then select\u00a0Dalvik Cache<\/strong>,\u00a0System<\/strong>,\u00a0Data<\/strong>, and\u00a0Cache. <\/strong>Now swipe the confirmation button to wipe.<\/li>\n
- Now go back to the TWRP main menu or home screen and tap on the\u00a0install<\/strong>\u00a0option. Navigate to the ROM file<\/strong> and select it.<\/li>\n
- Swipe the confirmation button to proceed with the installation. The ROM will be installed.<\/li>\n
- Now return to home in the TWRP\u00a0and tap on the\u00a0install<\/strong> option.\u00a0Navigate to the\u00a0Google apps<\/strong> zip file\u00a0and select it.<\/li>\n
- Swipe the confirmation button to proceed with the installation.<\/li>\n
- After that, return to home in the TWRP\u00a0and tap on the\u00a0install<\/strong> option.\u00a0Navigate to the\u00a0SuperSU<\/strong>\u00a0zip file\u00a0and select it.<\/li>\n
- Once all things get done, reboot your smartphone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
